mIRC is a fine chat program that I use to get opponents to play against. It can be downloaded here.
Once you download mIRC and install it, just read the "readme.txt" and/or review the "ircintro.hlp" and "mirc.hlp" files that come with the program. If for some reason you didn't get these files, go back to the mIRC webpage and tell them.
